This ordinary Post Office houses a very extraordinary piece of history. The Lyons Post Office is home of one of the very few remaining sculptures commissioned by the Works Progress Administration in the 1930s. Once considered to be white-collar work done by boondogglers, the artwork and murals that still exist are modern-day treasures. Turn to the right when you enter the Post Office, the sculpture is hanging on the wall.
